I saw Dr. Jo for acupuncture treatments before the birth of my second child, and I'm so glad that I did. She's great at what she does. I was scheduled for a medical induction at 37 weeks, and sought acupuncture treatments as a way of staying relaxed leading up to delivery. Like anyone, I also had my fingers crossed for an "easy" delivery. I had had a long, 32 hour labor with my son, also an induction, and delivered him sunny side up with really painful back labor. Dr. Jo is amazing! I have suffered from piriformis issues for years and she has been able to stop my discomfort. Whether it is acupuncture, cupping or other muscle relaxing techniques, Dr. Jo has helped with my muscle aches and pains and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to try alternative therapy. She has great bedside manner and really cares about the full well being of her patients.
