One of the greatest things about JD‘s hair studio is that when I come from the Bay Area San Francisco Oakland he always makes space and he always does the best job. I never have to go in with an idea. I just sit in his chair and I say do what you do because I trust his opinion and his styling ability my hair always lasts longer when I get back home but anytime I come to Long Beach and I’m here for a few days. It is time for me to get my hair done by the best stylist in the area.
I’ve been going to Jon for 10 years now and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. When I first moved to California, I struggled to find an African American salon in Orange County that could really get my hair right. Then I found Jon in Long Beach, and I’ve been making the drive from Santa Ana ever since.
He truly cares about the health of your hair, not just how it looks. My hair has never been healthier or looked better. If you’re looking for a stylist who is talented, consistent, professional, and genuinely cares about your hair, Jon is the one.
JD understood the assignment and then some! I came in needing a sew-in and left feeling like a whole new person. The install was neat, flat, and blended perfectly with my natural 4C hair. No bumps, no tension, no unnecessary pulling. Just clean work!
What I really appreciated was the attention to detail. JD took time to make sure the parting was crisp, the leave-out matched, and the style actually fit my face. You can tell he cares about the finished look, not just getting you in and out of the chair.
