If you want to send a family member or yourself to get help and be sent home or permanently stuck at a facility that has layers of deep unnecessary trauma, this is the place. If you want to starve and not be allowed outside, this is the place. If you want to repeat one flew over the cuckoos nest and realize mental health help is still failing, this is the place. If you want staff that curse and degrade people, this is it. You can file a Complaint with the California Department of Public Health if you have a problem with this facility. Nobody ever tells you this and they for sure don't give you the direct website: Enter the name of the facility. In this case College Medical Center. Then tell them about your problem with this facility. You are all welcome.

I'm not sure how any of these yelpers can give this place a 5 star review. This hospital is horrible! My father was taken here after a fall at his assisted living facility and when I first came to see him I was impressed with the facility being clean and the people at the front desk were absolutely amazing. BUT after you get up to the second floor it's all down hill. The nurses are no where to be found when you do find them they act like you're invisible, and they don't make eye contact or try and answer any questions.
