    2 months of a what should have been a straightforward kitchen update - cabinet refacing and countertops, period! Nearly 5 months after signing the initial contract we were finally scheduled. Started out good, Cabinet guys did a fantastic job and were in and out in 3 days. Then came the waiting... weeks went by with no counters, no kitchen sink, dishwasher, range etc. Refrigerator in the hallway, had to wash dishes in the bathroom bathtub! Then Defective countertops initially delivered and rejected. Wait more weeks... Project finally finished. Overall terrible communication, scheduling incompetence, and still they have yet to refund over $1,300 from their change order!... read full review

    I needed some lumber, but the size I needed was out of stock. When I asked an employee for help, he seemed irritated and informed me that lumber wasn't his department. He reluctantly checked his handheld device and said there would be a shipment of eight arriving the next day. I returned the following day only to find the same empty shelf. Once again, I encountered the typical lackluster customer service. It's no wonder people have a negative view of Home Depot. We shop here out of necessity, not because we want to.

    My husband and I went in to see about a refrigerator. Had a look around and someone, after about 20 minutes, as he walking walking by. Asked if we had been helped? We said no. Then he asked if we needed help and kept going. So rude. And we waited another 15 minutes and no show. No help. Bad management.
