California's Gunite - Pool Remodeling, Replastering & Resurfacing

The worst part of our pool is the wet edge plaster they installed. It's a complete disaster. Boot prints, trowel marks, acid burns from the 2nd acid wash they applied to fix there mistakes.
The owner did a site visit, said it's within industry standards, 3 other pool companies said tear it out.
They didn't show on repair days, don't respond to emails, don't stand behind there work.
I'm a licensed contractor in CA, and it's contractors like this that make everyone cringe.
Stay away, do your homework, this company is by far the worst in the industry..

We recently gave a facelift to our 22 year old pool. We had several bids and ultimately decided to go with California Gunite. We are glad we did. The entire process was a breeze. They were always timely, came when they said they would come and always cleaned up. The entire pool was finished within a week. We love the upgraded prima stone in the color of Riviera Coast. Unlike pebble tech, it is polished down to a smooth finish. Our feet thank us! The entire team at California Gunite is very professional and responsive. We were happy to support a family owned business. Thank you!

So after the sales person canceled on me two days in a row I call to inquire if there was another sales person whom could do my estimate. The sales manager called me back and was quite rude! She explained there were 3 people. Her 70 miles away, another 100 miles away and Mr. Canceled twice is the closest and only one in my area. She's 69 and can't retire because no one wants to work. Anyways she stated that there are 20 other companies that service my area. She said this 4 times.Although most companies that service my area only do new installs there are a few that will repair. This sales manager lost the company a possible $30,000+ customer who needs pool and pump!
