Tutu School has been such a joy for my 4-year-old daughter to be a part of. She began at age 3 and has now participated in two different seasonal recitals there, both of which she was so proud to be a part of. The classes are so developmentally appropriate, engaging, and fun with very little critique of the actual skills. The focus is on the children enjoying moving their bodies while learning some ballet terminology and movements. As a mental health professional, I am skeptical of any child dance environment due to the propensity for criticism of body and movement that can begin young and lead to larger issues with body shame and perfectionism down the road. We LOVE the Tutu School in Laguna Niguel! The studio is the cutest and the teachers are sweet and welcoming. My daughter has been going there since she was 1. She is now 4 and still looks forward to her class every week ???

My daughter loved this camp- she said she had fun with the other girls and loved the instructors. She said she would love to do it again. We especially love the owner Hannah who has always been very accommodating.
