Daniel has been taking care of my hair for well over a decade and from the beginning his work has been extraordinary -- he is careful and focused on every strand of hair and ensures that I leave looking as good as possible. We have gone through a lot -- shorter hair, longer hair, grayer hair, emergency haircuts when I needed an appointment fast. I have been to a lot of hair stylists. Dan is BY FAR the best one. I have very short hair and it needs to have a very exact cut. He is so precise!! I always get compliments on my haircut. He's also great at color. Dan is so good that people think I don't have any gray hair!!! The color looks very natural which is exactly what I want. I have been going to Dan for at least 10 years and have followed him to different salons. He's at Fringe and Fern in Walnut Creek now which is a hair salon and plant store!! I have been so disappointed with haircuts here in the U.S. compared to those I had in England. That is until I found Daniel after looking for a Vidal Salon inspired hairdresser. He really understands the "logic" of hair as very few do. He is kind, humble, gentle and an absolute genius: a real artist who really cares about his work. I will not tell you how long I have resided here but now feel incredibly lucky to have found a rare and outstanding professional He spent more than an hour on me and my hair really fell into place, precisely.
