I have been going to Dr. Lucero for over 15 years. I have received great care from Dr. Lucero over the years. I also had good care from dental hygienists over the years and his assistant. They were always very professional and pleasant to deal with. Because of this, I have tolerated and overlooked the attitude and treatment I get from the receptionist. She is rude, obnoxious and condescending. It is night and day from the days when Beverly was there. I truly missed her. It is true how your office staff can make you or break you. Today, all I requested was to be able to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Lucero soon. She kept on repeating that I had used up my maximum... read full review

I've been going to Dr Lucero for decades because of the quality of care that I received from his office. He is an excellent dentist who cares about his patients and resolving any issues that your teeth may be giving you.

One fine day I needed to find a new dentist close to my home because I had moved. So I called Dr. Lucero's office to see if they were accepting new patients, the receptionist told me they were, good! And did they accept Blue Shield of California? Yes again, good! So I made an appointment, went in, filled out the new patient questionnaire and submitted my Blue Shield of California insurance information to the receptionist. After the visit was over, the receptionist told me that I had to pay out of pocket $427 because I was a "first time patient", and this is their policy for first time patients. And that I would be reimbursed when my insurance paid them.... read full review
