I took my cat in to get her blood drawn to check her medication levels. The vet was nice, thorough and understanding that I couldn't afford all the tests she wanted done. This animal hospital has the feel of a small town vet but has access to all the modern high tech services one could need. It is a small place, almost cozy, so there is never a lot of people waiting. I really like the vet, too.

Overall great experience and staff member Cesar was great very inviting and welcoming along with being very informative. Doctor Cecilia was thorough and explained everything to my Family and I. We are excited to start our shih tzu journey here.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our family pet last week and I must say this was handled with tremendous sensitivity, professionalism and kindness. 10 out of 10 service for such a sad time. The staff here and the doctor that stayed with us were just phenomenal.

La Verne Animal Hospital is simply the best. I started bringing my cats there all the way from Chino Hills after Dr. Niu took over the business. She took care of my cats while she was at Chino Hills. She and the rest of her staff are amazing. The care and comfort they show to the animals that come in is above and beyond. Then there is AJ the practice cat who is super friendly but also very mysterious with those eyes. Simply put, bring your pets to La Verne Animal Hospital. You wont be disappointed.

La Verne Animal Hospital is simply the best. I started bringing my cats there all the way from Chino Hills after Dr. Niu took over the business. She took care of my cats while she was at Chino Hills. She and the rest of her staff are amazing. The care and comfort they show to the animals that come in is above and beyond. Then there is AJ the practice cat who is super friendly but also very mysterious with those eyes. Simply put, bring your pets to La Verne Animal Hospital. You wont be disappointed.

Be warned, if you feed your dog a raw diet, expect negativity and judgement from this vet. She told us that dogs are not meant to eat raw meat. We brought our dog in for an issue unrelated to food, but wrote on the forms that she is fed a raw diet. The vet gave us a mini lecture on it, despite our dog not being overweight and having no digestion issues.

Started going to La Verne Animal Hospital a couple months ago to get my boy an ultrasound. I was using Banfield previously and was just not happy with their service for their pricing. I'm so glad I found La Verne Animal Hospital. They were very accommodating and was able to get me scheduled quickly. Was a simple drop off in the morning and afternoon pickup. Dr. Niu called same day and explained everything with multiple treatment options. I will definitely be coming here for years to come. Side note, Dr. Niu also works out of West Main Animal Hospital in Alhambra. I'm in the middle of both locations so it's nice having options to go to either depending on availability.

I am beyond not happy! I took my baby in on an emergency late Friday afternoon because he was in pain, not eating and was bloated. They ran blood work and X-rays, said X-ray was normal, possibly gas, sent him home with an antacid and a pain med. He had no signs of being better over weekend, I fact was more lethargic .Today is Monday and I took him to his previous dr that is about an hour away. He looked at X-rays and said definitely not normal, he has IVDD ( his discs were narrowing at base of spine probably degenerating but his jumping may have fast tracked the injury and enflamed it. He also had some lesions and pockets in his intestines. For as much money I spent at KVAH, the radiologist should be better trained at reading X-rays!! The attending Dr and the vet tech were great, but apparently she didn’t look at xray just relied on the radiologist to read and decipher it.. not happy at all. My baby now has the proper pain meds and a protocol to try and mange his pain.

I have been bringing my pets to this animal hospital for a few years and I really appreciate how attentive and careful the doctors and supporting staff are, not to mention how kind everyone is.
Both Dr. Niu and Dr. Mirzaian are so compassionate and knowledgeable, it is obvious how much they care for your animal and want to provide the best treatment.
I recently brought home a puppy and took her in for her first vet visit. Dr. Mirzaian and Vet Tech Cesar took such great care of her, administering her vaccines, checking her poop, and trimming her nails.
It can be scary trusting someone to treat your pet, but the doctors and staff here do a great job caring for your pet as if they were their own. For that I am grateful and so appreciative of this animal hospital.
