I came in to this establishment for products to lighten my daughter’s hair. The Stylist in the back convinced me she should do it for me and she had appointments the next day. My daughter‘s hair was strawberry blonde at the time, and our main concern was getting the red undertones out of her hair. We showed her a photo of her natural, very light, blonde hair and said that was our goal. I walked in halfway through her appointment and my daughter‘s hair was died dark brown. At the end, the highlights that she put in her hair were incredibly spotty and nowhere close met the goals that we had. The hardest thing to understand was that we walked in with her hair already pretty close to blonde saying that our goal was to make her hair lighter blonde. And she dyed her hair dark brown! My daughter has been in tears ever since this appointment and I am taking her somewhere else to get it fixed after spending $200 on this stylist ruining her hair. Don’t walk, run away from this place as fast as you can! (The photo with the red heart is the color of her hair when we walked in. The photo with the purple heart is her natural color that we were trying to achieve. The other photos is what we walked out with.)

PLACE IS HORRIBLE. My mom went to get a wig because she’s going through chemotherapy… and was up charged 300$ for a synthetic wig. Payed 480$ for a wig we found online for 120$. They also tried to “cut a deal” but only if she payed in cash??? Horrible service, ugly EXPENSIVE wigs, weird sale tactics.. don’t waste your time and money here.

I love coming here whenever I visit La Quinta. They carry just about all of the products that I want and I'm so glad that they carry brands that I've had a hard time finding anywhere else- especially ENJOY, Formula 18, and Sebastian. The staff here is also very helpful with finding any products or showing you color swatches to get a better idea of a hair color that you may be interested in.

I needed help correcting my freshly dyed hair. Matthew was brilliant! Matthew showed me (I am super naiive to hair color) what I needed and how to use it. He let me know that if I had anymore questions I can call. That gave me so much confidence to correct the color myself. I did take up that offer to call and each time my questions were answered and I am so grateful for that. Thank you ?

Stopped in when on vacation & needed a few things. Matthew helped me and was SO helpful & instantly knew where everything I was looking for was, saving me time. He was also incredibly patient and friendly.

Just wasted $46 on the worst haircut ever!!! Never again will I nor anyone I know go to that place. 5 min and she was done, all she did was a fade and it wasn't even EVEN!!! The ladies hands kept shaking. She had to hold the machine with both hands!! Never ever again!!!

Only good thing about that store is the front girl Priscilla. But other then that. It's crap Last year on my birthday I went in to get a trim on my hair thy is thick and gorgeous as people would say, I could kill to have your hair I have taken a lot of time money and love into my hair to make it that thick and next time I was going to donate it when I cut it it was down to my behind. LINDA. The lady I thought at first was nice as old as my mother so I thought no prob for just taking the ends off to make it even. My hair was so nice that you could braid it, and I would not have any flares coming out. It was straight shot braid. Told her no bangs. I hate them. And my front was long as my back hair.. she kept ruining and talking. And kept on.. as wondering why it's taking so long.. then she come to my front and about to chop my front hair! I said no bangs!! She said it's not bags. It's just a long front like Farrah Fawcett, which I never asked for and and was a bang!!!!!! then proceeded to tell me that I am going bald and put a product called TOPPIK in my hair. In the end. She charged me $75 to fuck my hair up. And precedents to sell me TOPPIK and other products I did not need . I'm the end I was allergic to the product and it made me loose hair. And thin and was partly bold.. thy was last September 2022. I'm still trying to grow hair back and have cried for over 7 month now. She has made my hair thin by chopping in in side and thinned it out then gave me bangs Then made my hair loss by selling me crap. I do feel she was on drugs now She had a cast on her leg and told me it was broken or hurt.. she could of been on pain killers and just wacked my hair. I would like to sue her. For my months of pain and suffering but it hard. To at least a warning. Don't get Linda. She is a wacko and a rude lady. Her offer was to color my hair or do extension to make me happy and I'm like why the fuck would I need that? I didn't need it in the first place until you like my hair. Then she proceeded to tell me again that I was going bald and it was hereditarily when there's nobody in my family that is bald. I have never met a beauty salon person that can say such a medical word without being sure, and also selling crap. Also, she proceeded to tell me that she used a different product in my hair and then she sold me so she's a big fat liar and she has ruined my hair and I try to forgive her and go on with my life but every time I see myself in the mirror, I cry.

It has taken me over 6 years living here to find someone that does sew in weft Extentions. I have to go to LA. Dominique and Priscilla did such an outstanding job. I almost cried!! thank you so much my beautiful new friends!

I decided to color my ash-blonde hair to cover the gray. So I went to Walmart and bought golden blonde by Loreal. That was a wrong move on my part. My hair turned orange. I didn't know that when you put the golden on medium ash you get orange! I should have looked at my color wheel. We were taught this in art class. So I went to Sally beauty supply stores to seek advice and buy more hair color. I went to four different locations and not only were the clerks not knowledgeable about anything, but many of them were so rude. I moved from Palm Springs to La Quinta and I was driving around the area for new places to shop, I noticed this little store/shop nestled In a small strip mall area next to Stater Bros. market. I parked and walked in and this sweet young woman was friendly and willing to lend an ear. She assisted me in picking the right color supplies to help with the orange brassiness of my hair. I have gone back several times to purchase the next phases in fixing the orange mess I made. I am happy to say after five treatments, I am finally happy with my color. It is now a light ash blonde and there is no orange or yellow! I want to thank PRISCILLA for helping me with my issue. She is knowledgeable and kind and she deserves to be recognized! I am a happy customer and I will be returning to this shop for all my future needs! I highly recommend this little place for anyone who is stuck in a hair color mess or just wants to be heard and directed to the best beauty products they need. This place is the BEST OF THE BEST where a little KINDNESS goes a long way!
