It is rare to find such a genuinely kind, caring team that prioritizes the patient as much as the team at Sutra. I went in a little stressed for a dental cleaning and left like I had just been to a spa. Special shout-out to Carina for going above and beyond.. thank you!

I do not typically write reviews on anything, but I felt compelled to write a review for anyone in my situation. I'm new to San Diego and therefore did not have a dentist in the area when a debilitating toothache came over me. I checked our Dr. Wu's office more so out of desperation, if I'm being honest, and I am thoroughly impressed. The overall zen feel in the office brought my anxiety down. Even though I've never had a root canal, Dr. Wu's careful and methodical explanation and overall attention was extremely evident. His entire staff cares, and that's huge to me. I absolutely LOVE Sutra Dental Spa, Dr Wu and all of his staff! The office is very relaxing and everyone is very professional and friendly. I cannot rave about this place enough! My 5 year old son is now a patient here too! Hands down, best dental office ever!

Dr. Jimmy Wu is a San Diego native, completing his Bachelor's Degree in Biology at UC San Diego, where he contributed to the advancement of biology and medicine through years of research. He went on to receive his D.D.S. from the University of Southern California. Recognizing his love for San Diego, he returned in 1999 to establish his practice. With over 5,000 hours of continuing education, Dr. Wu has extensive background in the areas of cosmetics, orthodontics, TMJ, computerized dentistry, and CEREC ceramic fillings. Dr. Wu has placed over a thousand veneers and CEREC restorations, as well as hundreds of full mouth reconstruction cases.
