The loctician is an amazing artist who is extremely knowledgeable, taking pride in her work. She advises every step of the way on proper care to form perfect locs the right way, helping clients achieve their desired look. Services include starting dreadlocks, regular maintenance, cutting, trimming, and coloring. Clients describe the experience as therapeutic and a real pleasure. The loctician is super chill, positive, honest, hard-working, and the sweetest woman. She is a beautiful person who clearly loves her craft and cares deeply about both her clients and her work. She is not pressuring or overbearing and maintains a perfectly balanced, comfortable atmosphere. The salon space itself is consistently sterile and clean. Her work ethic and skill are highly praised. She works efficiently, completing maintenance expertly in a fraction of the time others might take. For major services like dreadlock removal, she is careful and able to save a significant amount of hair. Her prices are considered very fair, and she does not cut any corners. The result is that clients absolutely love their hair every time and cannot imagine trusting anyone else, with some even planning travel specifically to continue their journey with her. She is highly recommended for anyone looking to begin or maintain their dreadlocks.
Mariah is the absolute best at the beautiful art and craftsmanship of dreadlock creations, removals and hairstyling of all types. The icing on the cake is she’s also super chill, positive and just a real pleasure be around. Not pressuring or overbearing, doesn’t talk to much or too little. Keeps a sterile and clean salon space. I had my 25 year old dreadlocks removed by Mariah and she amazingly was able to save so much of my hair! I spent 10ish hours with her, so I can testify to her character and work ethic. I definitely recommend!
Mariah is awesome. She helped me begin my dreadlock journey nearly 3 years ago and I’ve been seeing her regularly ever since. I’ve changed a few things about my dreads throughout my journey, including getting them cut, trimmed, and colored, and I have absolutely loved the result every time. Not only is Mariah an amazing loctician, but she is also a great person and you can tell that she really cares about both you and her work. I can’t imagine myself going to anyone else. I am so blessed to have found such an amazing artist as Mariah. She started me on my dreadlock journey 2 years ago, and I am so grateful for her. Mariah has gone above and beyond for me, she’s truly an amazing lady. She takes pride in her work, and is extreme knowledgeable on what you can achieve with your dreads and how to get you there. Her prices are very fair, and she will NOT cut any corners on your hair. She is honest, hard working and the sweetest woman I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.
