Brian has retired and now it is a new veterinarian in his place. I was disappointed in the service here because I have a new puppy that had his shots from Italy which come in different names and the vet didn't know or look up the shots and their contents and so he recommended shots that my puppy already had. I looked up the shot names and what they cover and showed the staff and they agreed he already had the shot he was about to receive. Another issue is when the vet checked my puppy's palate, he pinched his mouth open causing him to squirm in pain and cry out and I told the vet that there is an easier way to open his mouth as I had a treat that would cause him to open...read full review

This Vet is the true dog whisperer. He is a great vet and he truly loves animals. As successful as Dr Golden is, he treats customers with respect . I am not sure how long he's been a Vet but it's a long, long time. Dr Golden is committed to dogs and cats and is do devoted. I highly recommend Dr Golden to any Pet lover in the La Mesa, San Carlos area

Dr. Golden and his staff are beyond amazing! We love this place! They are great to my crazy Whoodles! I feel like they honestly care about my dogs and remember them when they see them. Definitely recommend!
