I mean, what do you expect? The only people not rating this course a 5 is because they probably are frustrated or don't belong there. Views are exceptional, course is well designed, the Reuben sandwich at The Lodge is great. Getting a tee time is hard, but most good courses in SD have that problem. The best part? If you are a San Diego county resident and get the card (but make sure you bring it), it is actually cheap. For tourists it can be a bit much but if you consider what you are getting, still worth it. North is hillier but easier/shorter, South is more flat and easier to walk but not easier by any means. Bunkers are just where you dont want them which means you'll...read full review

Iconic because the tour plays here. Good value for San Diego residents, but pricey for out of towners. $155 plus $100 fee for reservation. Course is primarily walk so bring your carts. Zero places to sit down on the course while waiting on tees. Walked 6 miles on North course. Rough will swallow balls and difficult to hit out of with narrow fairways. The last few holes on back nine truly the best views, the rest of the course is pretty plane. Super fast undulating greens are a real challenge. Don’t hold approach shots. A check off a bucket list but have enjoyed better.

You gotta love their amazing Drugstore Burger, but it's even better when they had a weekly special and put smoked pulled pork on top....

It was so good, and they were very accommodating for a friend who got a little too cold on the patio and they brought him a blanket.
