I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Alejandra Duarte, M.D. during my child’s physical for YMCA camp. My child had a small scrape that was already healed, as well as a minor white spot on the skin. Despite my explaining that these issues were not affecting my child and did not need to be highlighted on the camp paperwork, Dr. Jane insisted on documenting them and even recommended antibiotics for the scrape. What frustrated me most was that I felt my concerns as a parent were completely dismissed. I explained that I did not want my child singled out at camp over a minor, healed scrape, but my concerns were ignored. Rather than having a respectful discussion, the doctor seemed determined to include these notes regardless of what I said. I understand that doctors have professional responsibilities, but communication and listening to parents are important too. I left the appointment feeling unheard, frustrated, and disappointed with the lack of respect shown during the visit.

I have been a patient here for a decade. But the last few years they have constantly changed insurances they accept and canceling appointments with little to no notice to the point that it is getting ridiculous. Its just not worth it anymore.

I had a excellent experience with Claudia the front lead at the la habra clinic she was extremely helpful with fixing my insurance and getting me a appointment right away

Honestly such a disappointing experience when it comes to being pregnant and dealing with them. First thing first they lake communication big time. We had issues with insurance which ik is not their fault but then they wrote a note on my chart to not to refer me to specific doctor which they my insurance calls them while I am on the phone to get information to why they dont answer the phone or return the call to my insurance which puts me in a bad crunch to do my scan. Then I call them multiple times with multiple voice mails that tend to get ignored or the call back is after hours or even days. The staff are not rude they are neglectful.
Then lets talk about the doctor she is nice she is not rude but she is always in a rush. I kept getting cut off with every sentence I say literally. My first appointment she does a 1 min ultrasound does check my uterus in a good way. Couple of weeks later I get in a car crash someone rare ends me on a red light. I go to the ER they tell me I have a small blood clot in my uterus. I go to my doctor crying she directly assumes I miscarried cuz she cuts me off mid sentence AGAI. Them doesnt do an ultrasound to see the blood clot. Doesnt do weekly monitoring to see if its getting worse and I even ask her to see if the clot was in the old ultrasound she doesnt pull it up. Then she goes and say that she doesnt have my initials blood work which I emailed to the office 3 weeks ago. So in the same day I come from a car crash I get 7 tubes of blood drawn and she does the same blood work I already had done and then she goes and say oh I didnt do blood work for you last time?. Like they are fully lost
I call them a week ago for work letter of accommodations due to the doctor telling me to not lift heavy stuff guess what no answer back isn’t wonderful?
Save your self time dont go there I have some cramping and If I call them they dont let me come they tell me go to er and then the er tells me you need ur obgyn who doesnt care

Dr.Castro was fantastic! She is incredibly kind and attentive. Dr.Castro immediately addressed all my concerns and I never felt rushed. I’m very grateful for Dr. Castro expertise. She explained my treatment plan in details. Thank you very much Dr.Castro!

I’ve been coming here since I was a child & I’ve never felt more disrespected in my entire life. Ever since the main male dentist left, the change to the excessive all females in the dentistry has had longer wait times, excuses & lots of disrespect towards most men. For example, there are too many rude female dentists & dentist assistants here than there is attention. Unapologetically.
