Their website claims they have advanced equipment to detect leaks, but as it turns out, they don’t do that anymore. I explained my issue to an answering service, then a scheduler, and about a week later when the actual plumber arrived for the appointment. I was able to isolate the leak as between the main and the house shutoff valve since the meter leak detector was spinning even after the water to the house was shutoff. After paying $436 for less than two hours work, I still have a leak and a referral to an actual leak detection company that wants another $1000 just to find the leak. Very frustrating. Great work! Very nice people to work with, excellent techs. We've called these guys around 4 times now and every time they've been great. Creative, resourceful, and can totally come up with a solid- and lasting! - solution. Not the cheapest place but I'm not inclined to cut corners with plumbing!
Ken Hodges with Ben Franklin plumbing, was absolutely a pleasure to have working on my home. I'm from the bay area. It's a breath of fresh air to hire someone with complete honesty. Ken was very understanding of my situation (being disabled) and patient with all my questions. He was more than willing to explain things to me, even twice if I had forgotten them. Ken was punctual, professional, honest and friendly. If I ever have any future needs for a plumber I want him again.
