Great team doing wonderful work for local wildlife! As a native OBecian, I'm extra grateful to SoCal for not only rehabilitating our iconic local parrot residents when injured, but fostering education about and advocacy for them in the community.
SoCal Parrot is absolutely phenomenal!!! There are many amazing volunteer rescue groups, but SoCal Parrot is at the top of that list. They are so kind and helpful - they go well above and beyond the call of duty - doing anything and everything they can to make sure the birds are safe. I found an injured bird on my porch this morning and called a few local agencies to help me. None would do so - one even suggested they wouldn't come out until the bird had obvious signs of injury/fallen over. This particular bird looked healthy, but appeared to have a broken wing.
