Referred to Dr Hein Tran by my HMO for MOHS surgery on scalp. Initial visit was scheduled within the first week. Filled out paperwork online so no time in waiting room. Dr Tran patiently described procedure and I was scheduled for surgery the next week - I was in and out in 20 minutes. Day of surgery: again no waiting room time, short prep, doc comes in immediately - no pain, stitched up and out the door within a few hours. Two weeks later, wound healed well, 15 minute appointment to remove stitches. From my first appointment to my last was less than 30 days and that is what you want when you hear you need skin cancer surgery.

It did not take long from my arrival appt. time to when I was taken inside to meet Dr. Mimi Tran. Dr. Tran is nice and very approachable. She listens to my questions and responds to them. She prescribed antibiotic ointment that helps dry and resolves my skin redness & itchiness (eczema) in just 3 days of application.

Have been going here for sometime, Dr. Tran has been of great help. He diagnosed my issue and has been successfully keeping it in control since the time I have started with them. He is great at planning the next action with you and make sure we follow up with a plan for it. I have heard many people say that it is very hard to get his appointment, but I guess if as a patient you are pro-active and work with the office in advance, you will not fall short of getting an appointment. Also sometimes, they have scheduled me in short time period as well - the only drawback to that was that I had to see him in his Fountain Valley office which just increases my commute time not...read full review
