We were looking for a good honest dentist since moving to Orange County around 3 years ago and are very happy that we finally found one after a long search going to many dentists. Dr. Ghatnekar and staff at the Irvine Family and Implant Dentistry are excellent. The doctor explains everything in detail and provides options before proceeding. He is patient, thorough and caring. Assistant Christine is helpful and courteous. Dental hygienist (MT) is very thorough. We are extremely glad we finally found a good dentist and would definitely recommend Irvine Family and Implant Dentistry to others.
I grew up at a time when dental health was emphasized but the experience was difficult. Dr. Ghatnekar has turned this whole feeling around. He is patient and explains everything very well. Having a dental implant right now continues to be a positive experience for me. Dr. G, Mina and MT make a trio that can’t be beat.
Visited Dr. Ghatnekar after years of feeling embarrassed about my smile. I consulted with a few dentists in the Irvine/Orange County area, and chose to work with Dr. Ghatnekar and his team because they took the time to explain the procedures very thoroughly - and their paraffin hand wax was a nice treat to go along with it :) Dr. Ghatnekar's hygienist first provided my cleaning, after which I was seated to take x-rays. I explained my concerns to the Dr. and after his assessment, he suggested a number of options. I decided to go with veneers for my top teeth, and a few implants on my bottom teeth to freshen up my smile -- I could not be happier with the way this all turned out. In my early 40s and wish I had come in sooner - I have received many compliments and I'm so pleased to show off my new smile! The office is COVID-conscious and clean, so I feel very safe each time I visit this office. Cannot recommend this practice enough.
