So many good things to say about this salon. Cosmo Nail Bar has a really convenient location. I appreciate a discount for cash, but prefer not to carry cash on the regular. Cosmo is just a few doors from Bank of America...easy-peasy, hello discount on their already reasonable prices. Plus, location has plenty of parking. Let's talk decor. Modern, bright vibe with pedi chairs that have separate bowls. That's a big selling point for me. But, it's all about the skill of the nail tech/artist. To everyone that recommended Vi, you all did not disappoint. I just moved to SoCal over a month ago and if you are an every 3 weeker like myself, ya'll know how hard it is to find a really good nail artist. Especially when you're loyal to your previous local shop. The second Vi sat down and talked to me - we just vibed. She is hilarious and knows how to keep the conversation going. She is meticulous and landed the shape I normally get perfectly. I am picky and I did not once have to tell her once to fix something. Came in to get a gel pedicure. Under new management and the prices have gone up a TON. There were previously four options for pedicures; my friend and I always chose the second-to-the-best option for around $55. There are more options now, and the third option from the top is $80! Although I've been coming here for years, I'll seek out a more economical option going forward. The rate hike is too much for the value that is provided.
