A/C went out at my mother in law’s place and I called another company(larger) whom came over and said that there’s was an leak that they couldn’t fine and highly suggested replacing the whole unit for an exceptionally high price.
I then called Rafeal and Adrian(brothers) who swung by the same day, actually only a few hours after reaching out, and fixed the problem at a reasonable price. I recommend them to ANYONE! Thanks gents
Wish I could give more than 5 stars. On Friday one of my AC units froze up and nearly started a fire in the fuse box. Upon a recommendation I called On Call. Raphael came out within a couple hours, confirmed I needed to replace the 22 year old unit. I had called one other company, that did respond quickly, but couldn’t believe the bid. On Call saved me a lot, set up an install for Monday. Luckily the temps weren’t bad but were going up the next week. Adrian and Raphael are so courteous, knowledgeable and I will continue to recommend this team to everyone.
In 2017, my A/C unit stopped working on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. I had a home warranty, but if you have home warranty insurance, you know how it goes: You call them. You hold for an hour. They take your service fee. You get transferred. You get disconnected. You call back. Wait again for hours for someone to answer the phone. You beg the warranty company to have one of their "licensed contractors" come out quickly because the outside temperature is approaching 118 degrees. You ultimately come to the realization that because of your crappy home warranty, you will probably be out of air conditioning for at least a week or two. You drink. Ultimately, the warranty company agreed to replace my A/C unit but they wanted to charge me an additional $3500.00 out of pocket to cover the new unit "government regulations upgrade". As a last cry for help, I contacted On Call Air. I spoke with Adrian and he could not have been nicer, more professional, or compassionate. He came out, fixed the problem for a few hundred dollars and it has worked perfectly from 2017 until yesterday. As always, my A/C unit began to make unconscionable noises on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend. Raphael (one of the owners) answered the phone after the first ring! He looked at the video that I sent him of my A/C and immediately assisted me with shutting off my A/C unit until they arrived. Adrian arrived within two hours to diagnose the issue. He told me that On Call Air does not contract with home warranty companies any more because they are so dishonest! Adrian diagnosed the issue and gave me two options: He could do another inexpensive "quick fix" or install a new unit (both cost options were very, very fair). I decided to go with the new unit installation...and this is the part of my review where a company transitions from awesome to exceptional.... At 4:00 PM, they drove all the way out to Riverside to pick up my new unit. They returned at around 8:00 PM and with limited lighting and while working in the heat, they installed my new unit. The crew worked nonstop, completing the job around 11:00 PM. The crew were so polite, knowledgeable, hard working, efficient, and above fair with their prices. I can see from all of the other 5 star reviews that these guys are completely legit! Highly, highly recommended!!!!!!! Saved by On Call Air twice!
