I received an acid-based eyebrow permanent makeup removal treatment from this provider and experienced significant chemical burns and injury to the treated area thereafter. I later sought medical corrective care due to the outcome.

I was unhappy with both the results and how my concerns were handled afterward. My experience and recollection of the appointment differed from the provider’s description of the treatment used.

Before booking, I encourage others to research the provider carefully, ask detailed questions about risks, aftercare, and licensing status, and make the decision that feels right for them.

Kathryn Joy did an amazing job on my eyebrows. ( I love them ) At age 60 they tend to want to disappear. ( Dreadful) Such a warm and friendly ,down to earth artist that is extremely thorough and detail oriented. Kathryn is knowledgable with many years of experience running a successful business and it's easy to tell that she loves what she does. She offers good advice and listens for exactly what you are requesting . What a wonderful job that must be for her, to make someone prettier. I left there with a bit of pep in my step and felt that I had made a new friend.

I would give Kathryn an honest and constructive review about my appointment for my lips today, and I'm gonna post an update about the healing process and result. First of all, I got this permanent full lip color through Groupon for 280$. It's my first time having my lips done for permanent color so I don't know what to expect. Kathryn is friendly and communicates well. What I like is about her work is that she walked me through the process and shows me the things that she's putting on to my lips like the numbing cream. I also like that she make sure that I'm properly numb. She actually put 2 types of numbing cream into my lips and left it there for 20 mins to make sure I'm not gonna feel anything. She also lets me choose the color that I want for my lips. She explain everything to me about the healing process and care. The only downside is that, she did not pre-draw my lips prior to start of the process which makes me worried. She just started tattooing by just following the outline of my lips without any pre-draw. I am also wasn't aware about her techniques, she is using something that is manual technique not the usual use of electric tattooing machine, I believed they called it soft tap on which I am not familiar of. I would say the process Is a little bit messy as there are lots of splashes but again it does not matter to me. I think we finished after 1.5 hour and I felt like she's kinda in a rush as someone is calling her outside the room. I am not even sure if im done so. So when I step out I believed there's another client, again I am not sure but I felt like my process was rushes that I thought my whole lips was not properly colored or at least even it out. I noticed it when step out as the lightning outside is better compared to the room. The color is just everywhere. I have attached a picture here of my lips right after the procedure when I got into my car. I haven't drink anything nor touch my lips when i took this photo. The whole lips was not evenly colored. There is no pre draw outline prior to the process so I don't know what shape of lips I would expect.
