Not very happy with the work provided. Excuse after excuse and work took twice as long as he said. I was quoted 5k for a bathroom remodel for just labor plus about 500 for plumbing. After the plumbers finished they send me a bill for $3000.00
Multiple items were not finished correctly in my shower including patch work and my bathtub being completely slanted and not level. Asked him to come out and finish the work and he refused saying he already gave me a discount for the mistakes he made.
My Son went on line but unfortunately he didn't realize to set up directly with yelp and was contacted by Jon for me. All the good reviews are really puzzling to me. My son sent Jon to me to finish work on a bathroom after contractor had to leave due to Mother's death. I'm 86 yrs old, use a walkerand not very well at this time but I do have a clear mind.Jon and his son, Brandon came out and he quoted me $600 to finish workwhich entailed putting two faucets on sinks and hooking up, hanging twomirrors, installing light fixtures over a vanity and putting open and close parts on tub. all of these items were provided.Jon a Brandon did install the faucets, put a nail in a strip that was already cut to size. Jon gone at least an hour between two trips to Home Depot as he got wrong size pipes, picked up a toilet tissue in chrome, not brushed nickel as all accessories are, which Brandon installed at shoulder level and it fell out of hook when I put a roll of tissue on it.Jon said he was on vacation and Brandon would hang mirrors, and install vanity lights while he was gone. well, Brandon came out but hung mirrors lop-sided, completely lost in installing lighting fixtures and made a real mess and left. Jon knew I needed this bathroom completed and should not have taken the job if he was going on vacation as Brandon was not who my son hired and doesn't have the skills and even told me so.Problem is I foolishly paid Jon in full for job on 6-21-23 in the amount of $775.00 which he cashed same day. He returned from vacation 12 days later and unable to install tub parts when all he had to was contact Koehler. He said he'd bring a plumber friend out. That was the end of it. He wouldn't take my calls or texts. I had already paid a handyman electrician $200 who Hung mirrors correctly and installed lights. Instead of refund, Jon said I should have waited for him. Forever?? What a crook and this is definitely elder abuse. My son is going to pursue this as would not want someone else to be his victim. If he had any morals at all he would refund me $400.00 as he also ripped me off on parts charging $175 with no invoice backup.Doris Jones in Huntington Beach, Ca.
Talk about a total rip-off. Jon was hired by my son to finish a few things for me in a bathroom such as install two sinks, put parts on a tub, align cabinets, hang mirrors and lighting above above vanityHe quoted $600.00. Spent at least an hour going back and forth to hardware store instead of having parts he needed. Had to order tub parts myself as he couldn’t even see model no which was clearly on tub. He then went on vacation and had son come out to install mirrors and lights.
