About Catnap Hangout & Adoptions
Catnap Hangout & Adoptions is a non-profit 501(c) cat and kitten rescue that offers a unique lounge environment for visitors to sit, play, relax, and cuddle with their feline residents. Visitors can come when the place opens and leave when it closes, unlike other cat lounges that require appointments and time limits. The rescue has a large number of cats and kittens, and visitors can interact with them outside of cages to get to know their personalities. The owner, Jayne, has a big heart for taking in all the cats that come through or are dumped on her, and the volunteers are kind and helpful. While the place can be smelly due to the number of cats, the love and joy visitors receive from the cats make it worth it. The entry fee of $20 goes towards the cats' boarding, food, and medical needs, and most of the cats are available for adoption. Visitors praise the clean and fun atmosphere, the overall happiness of the cats, and the opportunity to spend time with these adorable, adoptable felines.
This place is full of so much heart and soul, I'm so glad we have something like this in the area now. I used to pay something like $40 to visit one in LB and they made you leave after an hour. It's only $20 here which is very reasonable in the cat cafe/lounge world when compared to other ones. I've literally brought my laptop in here for hours and the volunteers are happy to see it and don't mind you staying long. They just want you to enjoy the cats and for the cats to be happy. Its easy to see that. They also do bingo now!! I'm very excited to see what that's about. Anyway here's a collection of pics from my recent visits
They take great care of their adoptable cats here!! I might just have to go back and adopt another kitty soon... Great place to hang out and help the cats get acquainted with people. I'll definitely be back!
Catnap Hangout is an amazing place, and it’s where I adopted my cat, Ciri. When I first brought her home, she developed a pretty nasty eye infection. Catnap had her seen and given antibiotics at no cost to me.
The people here really do care about animals and goout of their way to make sure they’re healthy. They really just want the best homes for their babies. I couldn’t recommend this rescue more, the great volunteers, great care, and fantastic cats.
