I was SO excited to do something nice for myself for once, ( I have not had my nails done in years) so yesterday I Google searched the closest salon near me and it was this one: "Pink Sky Nails" it was a 20 minute drive to get there from where I was so I called ahead of time (i called at 2:32pm and asked if they accepted walk-ins and if so do you have time for a full set and they said YES to both questions. ( he did not mention what time they closed) I get there at 3pm... and show him a picture of what I wanted on my phone. The nail tech took a picture with his own phone, sat down and begin to work on my nails (he added tips, acrylic and filed them down to a SHARP POINTY 🧙♀️ witchy looking Nail (i wanted a subtle/short rounded almond)....well, when it came time to actually paint them he said "I not do design, you want design You go to nice nails" I was confused, but OK ( I thought maybe he just doesn't know HOW to do the design) keep in mind not having my nails done in forever, I don't know where these places are around here) so I asked him "oh ok! where is nice nails" he said look on Google)🥺 This caught me off guard, i felt stupid and it hurt my feelings.. I am a very gentle person and dont like confrontation. I went there in such a good happy mood but when he told me that, I started to tear up but hid it so I didn't look like a baby. Like...Why take a picture, prop it up beside you to look at for reference... then tell me you won't do it and push me out the door. well come to find out they close at 4:00 so he was rushing me out. He did not push back or trim my cuticles, did not clean under my nails or anything like how a normal process usually goes, he only added tips... put some acrylic on... filed them to sharp points and painted them all one solid color. didn't even allow enough time for them to dry between coats and basically kicked me out the door all because they were about to close soon. They are so ugly 🥺. Lumpy, and bumpy, 3 of them are sticking up in the air, not laying flat, and ALL of them are lifting at my cuticles area. AND he made me pay $50. I didn't leave a tip. I left from there and went to nice nails and told them what the guy at pink sky said and they all looked at my fingers and literally thier jaws DROPPED (and the customers did too) and laughed and said sweetie we cannot fix this...we will have to remove everything and start all over from scratch. long story short don't pay a dime if your nails look bad. I should not have paid them yesterday I was so nice to everyone but this gentleman rushed me on purpose and I left there crying. the people at Nice Nails WERE nice enough to round off the Needle Points for me. The 2st pick is what I WANTED....the others is what I got :( How can I please get a refund
