Let me start by telling you that ACE came out to my house 2 years ago to give me a quote on what I thought was a broken Ac unit. He put what I thought was Freon in my unit and then checked it with the little machine thing and he told me that we have a restriction at 80% and that it would cost $1500 to fix and he would need to go all up inside the ducts of the house to clean out the whatever it was that was restricting the air. I would have paid that $1500, I would have called him back out, my mother in law was ready to help us pay for it… 2 years later and 2 years worth of suffering with only my room swamp cooler to keep not only me but my 4 kids and my husband cool for 3 months in summer and reporting to opening up the whole house at night in spring and fall to cool down our home, 2 years of believing my Ac unit was just “broken”…all because of a scam artist. My dad hooked me up with Dean and Howard and Shawn came out this morning to check it out and quote us for the fix—he said that yes it had way too much Freon inside it that it should be between 5-11 and it was up to 70something—and all he did was clean it out to the proper amount, replace my filter and it was all fixed!! We went from thinking we had to pay $1500 to fix our unit to paying $125 !! I am sooo grateful to the honesty and professionalism of Shawn and to the amazing company he works for! It’s been so hot in Apple Valley this summer and just my luck ... my a/c went out on a day that was 105. I called a few places and left messages and Sean from Dean Howard is the only person that got back to me. He came over that day and fixed the problem.
