Tonya (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) has done an excellent job at listening to my particulars, making me feel welcomed, and executing my desires. She's caring, kind, easy going, and best of all... my finicky hair looks great! All without a fuss. Love it!
I don't usually write reviews for local businesses, but felt compelled to after my last visit to Hermosa Barbershop and Supply. I have spent the last three years going from Barbershop to Barbershop, all over the South Bay in the hopes of finding my go to barber. Thankfully my search has ended! I wanted a shop with a clean and classic vibe, and a barber who consistently nails the cut. I gave each barbershop a few opportunities, and visited over a dozen places in my search for a barber I could count on. After my third cut with Isaias at Hermosa Barbershop and Supply I knew I'd found what I was after. He nails the cut every time, makes a point to understand what the goal is during the consultation period, and is a good dude to chop it up with. I've tasked him with challenging cuts, face shaves - you name it, and the dude pulls it off. At the end of the haircut, he takes the time to make sure you're happy with the result, offering to tweak things if you aren't totally satisfied. His level of service and dedication to his craft is rare and appreciated. I highly recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a reliable spot for a high quality cut at a fair price; I wanted to keep this local gem a secret, but had to give credit where it is due. To top it all off, they even have a good selection of men's grooming and style products in the retail half of their shop.
