About three weeks ago, I woke up with pain in my lower back pain with intermittent needle piercing. I had difficulties walking, sitting and laying down. I couldn't stand up straight. I tried the ice, heat, stretching, TENS, rest but I couldn't get relief. Nothing made it better. I called Dr Levy's office and the receptionist asked when i wanted to come in. and recommended spinal fusion surgery, which I was seriously considering in spite of all the bad things I'd heard about that could happen as a result. A friend insisted I try Derek Levy chiropractic. Without much hope, I went to see him and felt noticable relief after several visits. I continued to see him weekly and feel the pain is now manageable most of the time. If it flares up, he fits me in right away and gets rid of it. I'm not totally pain-free all the time but it doesn't interfere with my living my life anymore.
