They came out in December, 2021 and installed a Garbage Disposal. It stopped working in August, 2022. Did not return calls even though product still under warranty. No one picks up phone after office hours. Find another plumber to do business with!Service: Garbage disposal installation

Tough spot for us, a pair of scissors got flushed down the toilet and got wedged so the toilet backed up. I tried everything to get to it and clear it but couldn't. I have a home warranty plan so called American Home Shield who sent out Bay Plumbing. I got a pretty quick appointment and was very pleased with Maria, the receptionist, who was very efficient and pleasant. Two plumbers came out today, I do believe the main plumber was Miquel, the other was Alexandro (I think). So they tried to auger the scissors out but no luck. Miguel said that American Home Shield would not pay for repairs because the scissors were a 'foreign object'. I contact AHS and Miguel was absolutely right, they wouldn't pay. Miguel and Alexandro were very pleasant, efficient and cleaned up. They had to remove and replace the toilet to get the scissors out which they did. Miguel told me before they began that there would be a flat fee of $225 to remove and replace toilet. What can you do but say go ahead which they did, removing the toilet and taking it outside to work on it (a good idea). When it came time to pay Miguel he said it would be $300 because I had to pay the AHS service fee of $75 (which goes to the contractor not AHS), so again, what are ya' gonna do but pay it even though I'm on a fixed income (I know, Boo Hoo). I may be out of step with current plumbing prices but it kind of threw me to pay that much for about a half hour of work. They were good though, quick and effective and as I said, pleasant. BUT, all in all, I would recommend Bay Plumbing and Miguel, Alexandro and Maria (in the office). I guess a person just has to understand that if you need plumbing related work done it's not going to be inexpensive. UPDATE; As of August 2016 I previously wrote a review of Bay Plumbing and would like to update it and give five stars rather than four. I thought they did a fine job but there was confusion about the price when the plumber said it was a flat rate of $225 but then added (because it was a home warranty issue) an extra fee of $75. I contacted the office, Maria ( I believe) got back to me and Mr. Gonzalez, who I assume is the owner or manager, sent me a check for the $75. Anyway, I was pleased with their work and customer service.

This time, I guess I had an easy problem as far as plumbing problems go. My shower wasn't putting out hot water (just cold and very very mildly warm water was the hottest it ever got). I was assigned this company through my home warranty (I'm moving into a new-old place) and was worried that I had no say in the choice. Luckily, the plumber came out 2 days after I placed the request for service (being not an urgent problem I suppose), on time, with booties on. 30 minutes later, he had changed out a black cylinder piece and now I can take a real warm, even hot shower.
