From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming. I really appreciated that someone greeted and acknowledged us as soon as we entered. That may seem like a small thing, but it makes a big difference. Unlike some barber shops where you walk in and no one says a word, Mi Familia made us feel welcome right away.

The first barber who started my son’s haircut was still gaining experience with my son’s hair type (Afro/textured hair). What impressed me most was the teamwork. The other two barbers immediately stepped in to help and guide him, showing great professionalism and support. It was clear they genuinely cared about making sure my son received the best haircut possible while also helping their teammate learn.

The haircut turned out perfect! I was so impressed that I told my husband to come in for a haircut as well, and he had a great experience too.

I had been going to this shop a few years. Over the last year or so, the shop started to lack upkeep, cleanliness and I had to start doing walk-in because I could not get reliable bookings for an appointment.

Yesterday, I walked in and all the work stations were empty except one and he was cutting hair.

The gentleman introduced himself as the owner operator. He was very polite, very professional and gave me a great hair cut.

Support this shop, he is a hard working owner-barber. This shop needs to succeed because its locally owned by a hard working, professional, determined barber and deserves the support of the community.“

“Got my hair done for the first time at this location, By Vicky, she did a amazing job with my hair, I knew my hair was going to be a challenge, it was about a little over 2 inches out grown, and I had brown with highlights, plus my hair was super dry and damage to the point that tips where destroy.... Well after consulting with Vicky last week and setting a appointment for today.... She did a amazing job today she took her time with my hair multiple foils and rinse but she did magic with my hair plus haircut... plus she is very knowledgeable with products... I personally have had platinum/grey b4 but never was recommended on how to care for my hair... the only thing I was aware of b4 was the purple shampoo .... But she took the time to explain what will be best for my hair type....And also great price on her product.....So I recommend her to anyone that may need a miracle bcuz I did... “By luck I came upon this place. On my first visit, I was looking for a new barber because I recently moved back after fifteen years. It was rainy and every place I stopped, nobody took walk-ins and were booked for the entire month; yet there wasn't anybody sitting in the chairs. I was actually supposed to go to another shop within the same building and came across this place first. I've been here twice now and have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend.
