The Stacks Record Shop

Nice little shop. I'm biased, having spent too much of my youth browsing massive record show in Berkeley, like Amoeba, Rasputins and Leopolds. Stacks is small, but has a nicely curated selection. Mostly Soul/R & B. But also have small sections of Rock/pop. I was specifically searching for records that came out the same year ('73) as my brother, for his birthday. Managed to find a few! Bonus: they offer a 10% discount is you check-in on Yelp!

Finally checked out Stacks record shop! I have been clearing out the garage and needed to make space. I spoke to Gabe and he was kind enough to let me donate all my old vinyl. Gabe is easygoing and cool to talk to. We spoke about old mutual friends and the days of djing in the bay area. Can't wait to come back and dig through all the vinyl! Gabe thanks again for letting me donate my records, I'm sure you'll have a good use for them

A very charming little shop. It's got LOADS of records, plus some collectibles for the geeks and nerds (like myself :3). The shop owner is extremely friendly and helpful. My very first record store, and will definitely be going back! High recommend. A+
