I was a patient of Dr. Pope for many years. He saved my mother's eye sight from macular degeneration by referring her to a specialist when another Dr. missed it. Dr. Z is great. My hope is that she does not retire anytime soon. She is professional, unhurried, and treats me with respect. Her staff gives patients a full battery of tests before seeing her which others don't always do. Staff helped me save money on my frames and didn't try to "up sell me" to more expensive models. Five stars all around !

My recent experience at The Optometry Center in Hayward was absolutely awesome. Raquel, Paulina, Magdalen and Dr. Zhublawar (aka Dr. Z) are all super friendly and professional. Patient care was thorough and efficient. This is my second visit with Dr. Z. Each time I received excellent patient care. Wait time was also efficient. Thanks to ALL for your great patient care, it is certainly much appreciated! :)

I have been a patient at the Optometry Center about 14 years, as when Dr Pope retired, he left me in the hands of a consummate professional named Dr. Z. She is very thorough, has state of the art technology, and she's compassionate yet very practical. I have had nothing but great experiences at The Optometry Center, and find her staff to be very nice, cordial and efficient.
