I decided to try this clinic out since I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with actual licensed Chiropractors who owned/co-owned their own practice. I suppose there are those who stick to their ways even when over time, advances in clinical practice are made. I figured that going to a school that taught modern chiropractic care would be my next best bet, and I was right!

I decided to try this clinic out since I've had nothing but bad experiences with actual licensed Chiropractors who owned/co-owned their own practice. I suppose there are those who stick to their ways even when over time, advances in clinical practice are made. I figured that going to a school that taught modern chiropractic care would be my next best bet, and I was right! The senior intern who is currently treating (under the supervision of an experienced, licensed Chiropractor) is Sarah Opper. She is not just someone who decided to become a licensed Chiropractor out of no where. She has several hours of experience working hands on with people from her time working at StretchLab, has her Master's in Sports Performance and even has a husband who has sustained the same injuries as me (torn ACL, etc.) Sarah understood the difficulties I faced having to compensate with weight distribution because of my ACL injury and how it could possibly affect my back. Over the course of a few weeks I have felt immediate relief. And the great thing is the relief lasts for more than a day (unlike my previous treatments with licensed Chiropractors). She is easy to talk to, very attentive and has attention to detail making sure that my treatment plan is customized to my specific conditions that I want addressed. If you plan on giving this place a shot, I highly recommend Sarah!
I do not know why it took me so long to write a review. This place was a life saver for me. I was referred by a former dr. who used to teach here (Dr. Meakim) but I was receiving treatment at her practice in SF since 2013. I moved from the city to Hayward back in 2017 and I could not keep the treatment due to the commute; so dr. Meakim referred me here and I started treatment right away. This place was affordable, and yes it is time consuming because I totally understand that as a patient I am under the care of an intern who is working towards graduating; so I am ok with the balance of affordability and allowing time for care and education. Ever since I started my treatment here I was lucky to continue the chiropractic technique that I stated with dr. Meakim; which has giving me great results and allowed me a better quality of life. Now that I am receiving NUCCA care here under the supervision of dr. Wolf, I have seen great results with the care plan developed by my interns. I have met amazing inters who take the time to listen to me and apply a care plan that I am able to keep up with. I am very thankful for the services and care plan that is in place to help me achieve my health goals.
