The place wasn't very inviting to begin with, we weren't even sure we were at the right place as there's just a big sign saying "massage" in the plaza parking lot, no signage on the building. And staff wasn't the friendliest when we first entered the lobby. Plus, they make you pay in advance including a $20 tip, which is kinda weird (I'm fine with the tip amount, but requiring customers to pay it in advance is questionable). Fortunately, the masseuses were cordial during our massages in the couples room, and they did a good job delivering a satisfying deep tissue treatment. My bf had the massage table with the bars hanging from the ceiling above, so he got a bit of back walking from his massage therapist. He was satisfied with the pressure and technique. I was all good without the ashiatsu. I loved the strong pressure and my masseuse's ability to find and focus on my knots in my back, shoulders, and legs, using her fingers and elbows. She didn't do my feet, but my face definitely got worked on. Great tension relief while listening to the soothing sounds of peaceful music in the background. A positive experience overall.
My wife and I booked a massage same day. Staff was very friendly, and they gave us a room with two beds together was was very nice (we did not ask when we booked appointment).Because their prices are below the average, they do charge a $20 "tip" per person before your massage, and you do pay before as well. Little strange, but it does make sense as $70 including tip is good price for a massage anywhere! And it was a good massage!I had the main woman, who I believe is the owner, and she offered to do back walking, and deep tissue, at no extra charge. And I was a little skeptical as I have never done back walking before, I actually really enjoyed it! I typically am not a big fan of deep tissue, but I needed it. It was clear she has a lot of experience and her feet almost felt like hands with some motions. And moving on to the rest of the massage, I was get pleased. Worked the troubled areas, but not to the point of pain, great job working the rest of my body, along with the head massage... just describing it all I need to go back for another massage! Haha. She did an excellent job loosening me up and I felt great afterwards. Will definitely be back.Although I will mentioned one thing (and I hope she reads this review as well), i understand it is very tough running a business, and labor is expensive, so I understand she had to break away several times to answer the phone, get the door, etc., and she was super nice about it and apologized, BUT, I feel I should have had about 10 minute longer massage to make up for those breaks (was about 10 minutes cumulatively) at the end. But, as I said above, the massage and customer service was excellent, so still 5 stars.
I went twice wasn't happy with the fact that there was hair on my bed prior to me laying down.. I asked to be switched to a different room when I should've asked for my money back.. also I'm not a big fan of the lady using her arm and elbow with too much oil instead of a good hand technique.. the first time I went I thought it was ok and tried a second time, but after the hair I wouldn't go back.
