“Our two liquid amber trees on the side of our house grew exceptionally fast this year due to all the rain we had this past winter. Branches grew way above our roofline, grew up against the side our house, and through the telephone wires in our alley. After requesting an estimate from Tavite's Tree Service web site at 9am, I immediately got a call back with a same-day one hour appointment time. They called when they were 15 minutes away, met my wife and I at noon and provided a reasonable price. Since they had their truck and equipment, we authorized the job and by 2:30 pm they had completed the tree trimming exactly to our specifications, and cleaned up all debris from their job. They are responsive, very professional and skilled, and accommodated all of our tree trimming requests. Will call them again in the future.“

“Working in real estate I have worked with hundreds of contractors and Dean is the best! The first man I hired to cut down a rather large tree and grind down the stump disappeared after he took down the tree leaving the stump. I called Dean and he came right out and gave me a quote. I hired Dean that day. He did a wonderful job where we couldnt see the stump or roots that had spred in the yard. You would never know a tree was there. Perfect! Also a prior tree trimmer assured me the tree roots were in no way going to damage my brick walkway. Wrong! The roots lifted and broke some of the bricks bad. Dean to the rescue! He was able to grind the raised bricks perfectly! Dean not only is excellent at his trade he is very personable and enjoyable to work with. Dean said he may be branching out in other areas with work around homes. I'm looking forward to hearing which ones as I will definitely hire him.“

“Love the personal approach to service that Mr Tsuzuki has delivered throughout his quarter of a century career in the tree care industry. Mike, as he likes to be called, has a few select people to work with him but no office help to speak of. . . Keep trying him; He probably won’t call you back if you have to leave a message. He’s that busy!It’s difficult to find quality tree pruning anywhere. And I would trust Mike and his team, especially Lionel who has been with him for over 20 years, with lacing out my venerable Japanese Maples! But he’d have no problem taking out that pesky Mexican Fan Palm that seemed to grow out of nowhere and do it for half the price!But the appeal is not just quality and price. With Mike you actually get that magical trifecta: great quality, excellent price and quickly done!If you’re one of those that takes offense when someone doesn’t call you back then don’t bother; but if want an artist to do the work who values safety and integrity then Mike is the man to call! (Just might have to call a few time! Between the hours of 6AM-7AM is best before he’s too busy to answer!)“

“Had a backyard tree that was way overgrown and needed immediate service as some of the branches were blocking the power post cables and already growing towards the neighbors backyard. Contacted George’s Tree Service and got an immediate response from John who went that same day to provide a quote. Upon doing so we asked if he could do it the following day, John and his worker showed up the following day early morning and got straight to business, removed everything completely, and even removed a trunk we had there quite some time. They were more than professionals, cleaned everything up as if nothing was even there. My wife and I are truly grateful for their service and will be recommending them to friends and family!“

“I recently had some service done by Jeff Buchanan Tree Service and I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I was with the work that they did. They took 3 of my way, overgrown pepper trees in the front yard, and turned them into something that looked like right out of a Hallmark postcard. Just beautiful it was the most professional tree service team that I've ever seen and I know now that I have a tree service for life. Well, it's time to work on the trees in the backyard now and one can only guess who I think is going to be working their magic 5 stars is not high enough to rate this tree service so I'm going to multiply that times 2“

“I worked with Fil via a referral from a friend who used his services for their lawn removal project. I am very specific about what types of plants I wanted to add to my yard. I had met with lots and lots of landscape contractors and he was the only one who truly understood my project. I really needed a plan that fit the lawn replacement rebate program through the city. I knew all the specs, exactly what I needed, and Fil worked closely with me to customize a result that would work best for me. In the end, my partner and I did a lot of the planning, planting, and some of the hard work. Fil and his team took care of everything else. Because we were able to save some money on labor and plants we upgraded our gravel and edging selection. He's a really cool guy and has lots of resources. His team works very fast and does a great job. Definitely hiring him again for our backyard.“

“What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.“

terrific. I have a huge eucalyptus tree & was afraid of branches falling on my neighbor's patio. The employee climbed the tree to prune it perfectly. They also pruned another tree, topped the bushes along the back wall & artfully trimmed my trumpet vines. I highly recommend them. The employees are friendly & they clean everything up before leaving. .“
