“Highly recommend Mizu for hair color! I came in with about 3 inches of ugly, brassy root regrowth after getting highlights at a pricey NYC salon 3 months prior, where I live part of the year (had been doing 10+ years of DIY color before that). My appt was with Bere, who is a newer stylist/colorist (which I told them from the start was totally fine with me, given that my hair is straight, fine, naturally fairly light, and takes color easily). Carla, the owner/color genius guru, guided Bere very thoroughly and attentively throughout the whole process. There was much more toning and color correction involved than I expected, and Carla had it literally down to a science. Was fascinating to hear some of the color-processing and chemistry-related convos they have amongst themselves. These colorists definitely know what they're doing and my hair ended up looking as close to my original sun-highlighted beige blonde as it did when I was a kid (and better!) and exactly what I wanted. Bere did a superb job of styling it afterwards, which lasted much longer than anything I normally do at home. Staff is fun and friendly, prices are very reasonable, and they were super accommodating to my schedule. Very happy to become a new ongoing customer of one of our local coastside businesses“

“Coastside Esthetics is a welcomed addition to Half Moon Bay. As a touristy town, it can be hard to find affordable beauty services. The pricing is great and the quality of treatments are some of the best I’ve had. I have sensitive skin and Lydia uses mild and organic products that leave me feeling refreshed.
