I have been going to Style Bar since I moved to Marin county two years ago. It is an amazing salon! My hairdresser Emily MartInez is absolutely over the top wonderful. I have fine flat hair and she always makes me feel amazing. Great staff and environment! Highly recommend.
Hi, I live here now. I have been coming to style bar consistently over the past year or so for big bouncy, not overly stiff blowouts. I have super coily curly thick hair with lots of gray, so getting that perfectly soft smooth natural look is TOUGH. And these girls really make it happen. I regularly see Daisy, Rosie, and Emily. In addition to great products (kerastase and oribe), great music, easy parking, and close proximity to lunch spots like Gott's, sweet green, they have WIFI! So I can get a solid 45 mins of werk done during my lunch time blow outs. Oh and the girls are just lovely. So sweet. And can't forget my girl Kayla the manager!! Always making me feel welcome and not like a lunatic for juggling 1 million things. Btw, I initially deterred because of the less than stellar reviews here - don't be deterred! And remember sometimes all it takes is finding the right stylist. Blowouts are self care
This has been my go to place for great hair styling, for years. I have thick, coarse hair. These amazing stylists turn it into silky, gorgeous curls via a top notch blow out, ever. Single. Time! I am regularly seeing Emily, as she has perfected the approach (and she is awesome to work with, period). You can't go wrong at this place- each stylist is talented and Kayla's warm welcome and nimble scheduling make it all such a perfect experience. Highly recommend!
