Dr. Fong has been helpful and responsive by email, text, and when necessary by phone, both at home and when we travel. She's practical, friendly, and willing to discuss. She's careful enough to research when necessary, so when she gives an answer immediately I trust it. When a serious problem came up a few years ago, she lined up the necessary consultations for us almost instantly. We've been with her for 9 years and value her care.

I've known Dr. Mei-Ling Fong for about ten years, starting when we became friends while taking Ken Carr's body sculpt class at Mt. Tam Racquet Club. About 5 years ago I decided I needed more personal attention to my medical care and I knew Mei-Ling was the one for me. She is excellent at diagnosis, which is the bottom line most important thing you want when you leave a doctors office. I also have another primary care doc at ucsf but that's become a very difficult place to get attention, so I save him for when I already know what's wrong and need a scan or something similar to really define a problem. Dr. Mei-Ling Fong is a family friend, and also my internist. She is so kind, warm, and informative and has helped me overcome my anxiety around shots and OBGYN appointments. I really like her as a person, as well as my internist. She is just the best, simply put. After graduating college and leaving my pediatrician, I am glad that I have chosen Dr. Mei-Ling and her practice.
