We used Bay cities Mold Inspection services for our home and could not have been more impressed with Bob and Dan's thoroughness in their inspection and reporting. They provided concrete step by step advice for how to handle each aspect of our home and were very patient and kind with our often repetitive questions as we grappled with how to approach a big project. We used another mold inspector in the past who was more expensive, but Bob and Dan were far better!

I hired BCMIS to conduct air and direct sample tests on my apartment and am so happy I chose them! They were extremely thorough and professional and even discovered new mold no one else had ever seen despite multiple passes through the unit. I got the lab results in two days and the written assessment a week after that - longer than I've waited with other companies but worth it for the quality of the report. The landlord subsequently hired their own mold inspector and even he complimented my mold report for its thoroughness. I never could have guessed that this ordeal would put me in contact with so many businesses in the mold inspection and remediation industries. My husband and I used Bob from Bay Cities Mold to investigate any possible mold issues while we were in escrow on a house to purchase. We didn't want surprises later down the road. Bob was fast to come out and perform the needed tests. He explained everything to us in layman's terms and did an excellent job. After noting the crawlspace under our potential new house had signs of asbestos he had his co-worker Dan come out and do a full under house inspection. Dan got to places under that house that no other inspector had, and believe me we had been trying to find out that information. Other people said it was impossible. Not to Dan! He suited up, ventilator and all and got in there. He found asbestos as suspected. Bob referred us to 2 different asbestos remediation specialists, and Dan took the time to have telephone conversations with them so they would clearly understand the situation. Then just last night Bob gave us the results of our mold tests. The house is clear of mold. Because of him we can now move forward as planned and close the escrow. We are so happy. The asbestos is removable, we are prepared to deal with that. But mold can be a pervasive, silent and sometimes invisible killer living inside a home. From past experience, and health issues due to mold exposure we wanted to know as much information as possible. Bob and Dan did that for us. Thank you for doing what you do so professionally.
