“We’ve been seeing Dr. Joyce since both of my daughters were born, and we absolutely adore her — her care and compassion are unmatched. Unfortunately, since the merger with Western Sierra, the phone service has become quite challenging.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve experienced hold times of 30 minutes or more on several occasions, and once had to wait four business days for a call back. I completely understand that large transitions like this take time to smooth out, but I hope these issues are resolved soon — especially when it comes to reaching someone about children’s health.
I’m sharing this feedback not out of frustration, but in the hope it helps improve the experience for families who rely on this wonderful team. We truly value Dr. Joyce and her staff, and I’m looking forward to seeing things get back to the high standard of care we’ve always known.
12/2025 Edit - I am increasing my star rating and editing my review. It appears the call issues were primarily related to the merger. In the last 3 calls I've made, the wait times have been MUCH MORE reasonable at approx 5-10 monutes. Would recommend Dr. Joyce to any other parents looking for a wonderful pediatrician!“
