This is from Linda's Husband Sam. Our chimney cap had blown off exposing the opening now subject to possible rain damage. Service man Ismael came and inspected the problem and informed me that they don't usually repair chimney caps. I showed him the metal cap that my grandson had rescued from the lawn. Since I'm disabled and can't walk outside, I didn't know about it and what to do. Better Roofing recently did an excellent job repairing other wind damage on the roof. I was beyond happy how they repaired everything. When I called this time and fortunately, for me they sent Ismael out. After seeing my distress, he offered to help. We found 4 metal screws that could anchor the cap on the chimney from ones I had on hand. He used my drill and he searched my toolbox and found the right socket to match the screws, then he went up and took care of it in a jiffy. For me he went above and beyond what I expect most service people to do. What a relief. Then it rained today. I don't think he knew how important what he did was for this old guy. Thank you.

Gilbert Jr. came out and did the quote. Had a good idea of where the leak was at and also found maintenence issues as well. Generated a reasonable 2 line item quote to separate the leak repair from the maintenence so we could save some money right now. They were able to come do the repair when another customer fell off the schedule and did a great job. Found the leak was not where they thought, but they found it, and then did the repair along with additional repairs related to the leak flow. Also did a couple of small extras to make sure we were good for the rainy season. After the first rain we looked really good! His two man crew did a great job!
