Had a really really bad experience here at Genesis 😭 Irma the lady that did my hair cut it really short and nothing close to the picture i showed her. Really used to love this hair salon, never had a bad experience before. I posted pictures to show how bad it went. Also i picture of what i show her i wanted, and a picture of how my hair was before. I feel that if she doesnt know how to do this type of hair styles she should really tell her clients before working in you hair.

I've gone here twice now with Erma and felt so pampered and taken care of! My hair always feels so luscious and soft, and their prices are very affordable.

The last time I got a bang trim here was with Mau and she did an amazing job. I have severe thinning I found out due to a thryroid issue, and Mau cut my sideswept bangs to where it’s not so apparent. Highly recommend her; she’s super nice and I was charged $12 which is much more reasonable than the $15 I have been charged at other places. And I had a huge grin on my face when they got done because they look lovely. This pic is from the day after when I styled them myself. The next time I need a full cut I will definitely be going here and requesting her. Thank you, Mau ❤️ still loving them a month later.

I called on Tuesday and made an appointment on Friday at 2pm left work early for this appointment only to be left sitting in a chair for 40 Minutes with no word from anyone. I went to the desk to see what was going on and if maybe I had the appointment time wrong but I was completely ignored. I ended up just walking out.

Huge thanks to Alita and Erma at Genesis Hair! My friend recommended them, and I'm so glad I listened. I went in for a haircut, highlights, blow dry, and style, and they absolutely transformed my hair in just 3 hours! Erma, the hairstylist, was fantastic. She listened carefully to what I wanted (and even helped me refine my ideas!), and she was super gentle throughout the whole process. Alita, the owner, was also incredibly helpful and made sure I felt comfortable and welcome. I absolutely love the new color and style - it's exactly what I was hoping for! My hair feels so healthy and bouncy too. This salon is a hidden gem, and I can't recommend them enough. My mom is planning on booking an appointment after seeing how amazing my hair looks! I'll definitely be back!
