I found Genesis Hair Salon by chance when I desperately needed a long layers cut. My hair was dry/brittle with no shape. They cleaned, cut, and styled it so quickly at a great price. Great conversation and vibes at this place, I definitely found my new SoCal salon!

I have been cutting my own hair since the pandemic. I have wavy hair so I could hide most mistakes I made. My daughter is getting married soon and my hair was pretty chopped up so I made an appointment with Genesis. I was very nervous because I didn’t want to have a short hair style.First, the minute you walk you are made to feel welcome. I was early for my appointment and I was offered water or coffee at least 4 times. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name of the young woman that washed my hair but she was super sweet.
