I have been cutting my own hair since the pandemic. I have wavy hair so I could hide most mistakes I made. My daughter is getting married soon and my hair was pretty chopped up so I made an appointment with Genesis. I was very nervous because I didn’t want to have a short hair style.First, the minute you walk you are made to feel welcome. I was early for my appointment and I was offered water or coffee at least 4 times. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name of the young woman that washed my hair but she was super sweet. I came here the other day for a blowout and they were able to accommodate me last minute. In general, I was pleased with the results. I felt that the space could have been cleaner or more kept up. The woman who did my blowout was very sweet and skilled and my blowout looked great! The blowout stayed for awhile. The price was very fair and the owner was very sweet. It's a very convenient place for me. Overall, I had a pretty good experience and it is likely that I will be back!
