Dr. Kelly and the entire team at Goodland Pet Hospital are amazing. We looked at a few different vets and couldn’t be happier with our decision to make Goodland our dog’s primary vet. They’re kind, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain everything clearly and follow up thoughtfully. Whether it was a small issue or a major surgery, they handled it all with professionalism and compassion, always keeping us informed and at ease. Truly a wonderful team—we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This team has changed our vet experience entirely. My dog no longer trembles with fear during vet appointments. The staff here have gone out of their way to build trust and kindness with him and have been incredibly generous and warm with me as well.

They also are very transparent with their pricing and work hard to offer flexibility to best accommodate everyone’s financial needs.

I cannot express my gratitude enough and recommend them to everyone I know- especially those with animals that need extra patience and support.

We went in for a palliative care consult for our dog Frankie. We knew his condition was worsening and needed guidance on end of life care and options. Dr. Taylor was amazing. He was compassionate, honest, and clear on the situation, what to expect, and what our options were that would be best for Frankie. He spent time discussing everything, answered all of our questions and was incredibly sensitive to this difficult time.

Was very kind and helpful with my sick cat Oliver. I am grateful he is feeling better after his visit here.
I was very rude to a very kind doctor who called to follow up after our visit unfortunately. I forget your name, but I am sorry for being rude to you on the phone about a month+ ago.

I do not recommend it. Though the nurse and doctors and front desk are all very nice in their attitude, but I do not think they have a reasonable price and is knowledgeable/ experienced enough.
My cat was administered a fluid injection, which should have been injected under the skin. However, it was mistakenly delivered to the incorrect layer, causing the fluid to become trapped. This resulted in swelling ( I understand that there will be a couple of days of swelling for SQ fluid but that didn't subside even after a week ) and led to skin irritations and patches of hair loss. I reached out to the clinic when I first noticed the patches, querying whether the injection could have resulted in hair loss. The receptionist responded, assuring me that it was extremely unlikely and hair loss couldn't possibly be linked to the injection. They suggested booking another appointment for further examination to rule out fungal infections.

Contrarily, a visit to a different pet hospital confirmed my suspicions. The doctor there identified swelling around the area of hair loss and managed to extract some trapped fluid. They explained that the liquid was likely a result of the fluid injection administered on July 19th.

The second hospital not only provided clearer answers but also offered far more reasonable pricing. For the same amount I'd paid at the original clinic, I received a fecal test, a woods lamp examination, a first veterinary exam, an FVRCP vaccine, deworming, and the fluid extraction procedure. In addition, they gifted me a cat toy and additional deworming medicine. In contrast, the original clinic, Goodlands Hospital, provided only an examination and the fluid injection—which possibly consisted of electrolytes and vitamins rather than any medication—and was ultimately responsible for the hair loss and skin irritation my cat experienced. I initially brought my cat to the clinic due to her symptoms of morning vomiting and occasional sneezing. They opted to administer SQ fluid and probiotics as supportive care, and also an extensive list of tests concurrently, (I rejected) including a fecal test, a PCR test, an FIV/FELV test, radiographs, a Revolution deworming treatment,. If my memory is accurate, this comprehensive assortment of tests along with the physical examination came with a substantial price tag of around $1600.
The fluid + examination was around $220

In my perspective, such a wide array of tests all at once might not have been necessary as my cat is doing fine except 1 time of vomiting in the morning. The more measured approach, in my view, would have been to administer these tests one at a time, starting with the test for the most probable cause. Doing everything at once not only could potentially lead to unnecessary tests being done but also places a significant financial burden on the pet owner.

update:fur not growing back after a year, permanent damage
