I was visiting from LA and walked in without an appointment. Armando was my barber and he was professional and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The whole crew there is talented and the owner runs a tight ship. All the bad reviews are in my opinion a result of folks not being familiar with how barbershops operate. This is a small but very busy shop. If you don’t have an appointment make sure you communicate properly and make yourself known. Don’t just sit there assuming you’ll be catered to hand and foot. I came from out of town to attend a wedding and I'm so thrilled I stopped by Goleta barbers for a hot shave. Mauricio Delgado must be a magician on the side because he left me feeling like I got a new face. The shave was perfect and Mauricio pays close attention to details. He took the time to explain the process and everyone in the barber shop made me feel like a long time client. Great atmosphere and best believe if I'm in the area I'll be stopping by for another hot shave.

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in idk how long. Super meticulous.I’m just visiting for the weekend but I’d almost drive back just for another trim in the future. Also check out the great coffee shop and used bookstore close by.
