About Bob's Vacuum
Bob's Vacuum is a business that offers reliable and helpful service for vacuum repairs. The staff, including Gil, are known for their friendliness and patience in explaining vacuum issues and showing customers how to fix them. They have shown expertise in handling various brands, such as Miele and Dyson, and have provided solutions even when replacement parts are hard to obtain. Although there was an incident with a couple of rude and incompetent employees in the past, they no longer work there. Overall, Bob's Vacuum has consistently provided excellent customer service and is highly recommended for those seeking vacuum repair solutions.
Gilbert is an absolute gem to the community. Last year, we took our vacuum to be repaired and my husband and I were both beyond impressed at the warmth and Joy that Gilbert exuded alongside his passion and genuine excitement for fixing things.
This year, I had a bear of a time finding a place that would help replace the power cord to our portable air conditioner unit that our puppy had chewed through. I posted in a FB group, and Gilbert commented, cheerfully offering his services.
Obviously an AC unit is not a vacuum, but Gilbert was legitimately excited at the challenge. I dropped off the unit, and received a text 2 hours later that it was ready.

Brought my vacuum by because it didn't suck. (Ha!). there was a mechanical problem we couldn't figure out that made it unusable. Bob spotted it instantly and fixed it less than a minute. Looked like he going to charge, so we made him take some bucks anyway for his expertise.
I called Bob's Vacuum twice before actually going and Gil was consistently friendly and helpful on the phone. In person this was the same experience and he helped me with my Miele cordless vacuum and patiently showed me how to take it apart properly and put it back together again and then help me figure out why the roller was no longer spinning. Excellent customer service! BRAVO
