I have been coming to Anh for over a decade. I follow here where ever she's goes. She is alway very kind, professional and personal. I always love my hair colors and cuts. She knows how to frame my face and match my hair color to my complexion. I trust her in her craft, hence why I follow her everywhere she goes. I trust her so much I often go in and tell her to do whatever she thinks best. Work your magic girl! My hair has been pink, pumpkin kissed, brown, red, long and short. Her skills are very versatile. She is a sweetie and I love our girl talks. I even had to bring my baby in with me, which I do not recommend but she was very understanding and accommodating. This place is beautiful decorated. Very chic.

Review: I went with Anh to achieve a warm brown look coming from my previous stylist who messed up on my hair making it cool brown. I am not a professional in hair, therefore I trusted Anh to guide me through. Before we started, Anh explained our process could be tricky and we can come close to my desired outcome, but perhaps not fully- that I understood and agreed. But to have it come out red is just RIDICULOUS. There was no test strands at all-which should have been done if she claimed my hair was “so unpredictable.” She was not able to achieve it the 1st time, making it too cool and blonde. 2nd was decent, it was a nice brown but too gold. I explained to her I like the 2nd visit hair but just a bit warmer. 3rd time it came out absolutely red. I really appreciate Anh for trying to fix my hair without charging me toning costs (as this is expected) and refunding me $100. However, as a client, I did not feel understood or heard in what I wanted. I have driven to her 3 times with me being 30 minutes away, with the last fix being the absolute worst. I feel she did not take accountability at all, she just kept blaming how hair is unpredictable. Not once did I hear her say sorry or take accountability for this terrible experience. After my 2nd visit, she did not throughly wash my scalp which caused it to itch and inflame very bad. She still did not take accountability. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I have a special important event this upcoming Saturday and my hair is terrible. I may not be a hair professional but she definitely lacked hair color theory and professionalism. You just don’t slap on the actual color if I had color before literally so close to my desired outcome. A true professional would think of color theory and come up with a custom mix.

I've been getting my hair colored and cut by Holly for a decade and followed her from 2 previous salons. I'm so grateful to have her do my hair for many years and I always look forward to my appts with her because she's so bubbly and fun to talk to each appt. I always walk out with beautiful hair. I would continue to have her do my hair if I didn't relocate. The salon is very cute and relaxing. Location is great because there's plenty of parking. I highly recommend others to come see her if they're looking for someone to cut or color their hair, especially a stylist who knows how to work with Asian textured hair!

I've been coming to see Holly at Gold & Oak for about a year now. As much as I want to keep her a secret so that she will still have openings for me, she deserves all the love to be booked and busy! Her work is amazing. She has transformed my hair from a crispy mess to it's healthy, shiny form that it is today. My wedding was this past weekend and Holly was the only person I trusted to get my hair cut and color right. She was even kind enough to fit in my sister at the same time to get her hair done for my wedding as well. We both loved how our hair turned out. I really appreciate how easy going and kind Holly is. She listens to what you want and she makes sure you're happy with the results. I'm happy to have found my go-to hair lady! The salon itself is beautifully done inside. I love the decor and that they offer a variety of drinks while you wait (and while you're getting your services done). I haven't seen any other person here besides Holly but I think it's pretty cool that they offer more than just hair services here, such as waxing, permanent makeup, etc. I think if anyone was looking for a one stop beauty shop, definitely check out Gold & Oak.

Unfortunately, my haircut resulted in not all of my hair being cut. Once home, I flat ironed and found long pieces remaining at the original length and my hair just didn't lay right. I sent a pic and the stylist responded that I can either cut the missed parts off myself or find a salon to fix it and she will make sure it's even at my next appointment (in 5 weeks). I had to find a new salon and pay again to have the missed sections fixed. The stylist is a nice young lady and mistakes happen, but for these prices I expect a speedy and free fix.Update: 12 days later my stylist texted and refunded the price of my cut. I appreciate that.

Kristine is a wonderful hairdresser. She truly takes her time to talk to you and understand what you are looking for. Located in a local Gold River business center, the salon is lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend this lovely girl, Kristine is an expert with color and goes out of her way to treat you well and valued.

I love the vibes here at this salon! It is sooo aesthetically pleasing and super cute! I had an appointment with Anh for a hair cut and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I know some stylists like to give their opinion on your hair and what looks better but Anh was super accommodating and didn't pressure me into doing something I didn't actually want! She has dyed my hair multiple times in the past and always does a great job. I will follow her wherever she goes!!

This review is for Holly. I've been seeing her for haircuts for about 10 years now and I followed her here from her previous two salons. That's how happy and satisfied of a client I've been! She cuts off just what I ask her to, and she's really good at making my fine hair appear thicker. I just really like her technique and the shape comes out nice, always to my liking. (No mullet-looking hair here!) To top it off, she's got such a friendly, bubbly personality so it's always fun sitting in her chair. Her price for haircuts is also very reasonable. A bonus is that the salon is in a strip mall type of place, so there's plenty of parking right out front. Happy for my first review and 5 stars of 2022 to go to Holly!
