This place is awesome everytime I come in I'm always treated with smiles and the haircuts are always great with the prices are always worth it also the wait this place is my to go barber spot and it'll stay that way till I loose my hair 5 stars wish I could give more

I will attempt to write a review that represents every aspect of Golden Beauty Salon: This place is more than your average hair or beauty salon... The staff/owners of Golden Beauty Salon are AWESOME 10/10 people. I have been coming here and have known the owners for approximately 6 years and I have never had a negative experience. The owner of the place Shushan, is a very energetic woman who has a very uplifting personality that always gets you in the mood. Every time you're in that hair salon, she's bumping awesome music, all positive vibes, non-stop joking, and consistent laughs! Sushan's son, Andre, started cutting hair a few years ago. I remember when he was still going to school to become a barber, he would cut my hair and try new things on me. Within MONTHS, this guy was a PRO. He could cut my hair with his eyes clothes and it would come out PERFECT. And the best part is that he would be done in 15-25 minutes; shave, fade, and everything! The vibes here have always been the best and I've enjoyed every moment of being in this barber shop. This part of my review is to address Linda S.'s negative review. Has anyone ever taken a basic Philosophy course where they told you the "comments box" is never a representative sample of customer feedback because people who contribute to the comments box are typically people who are going out of their way to share their negative experience? I believe Linda thinks Yelp is exactly that. Look at the graph of her reviews. It is clearly dominant in the 1 and 2 star area. Therefore, I believe that Linda's feed back is not representative.

Shushan is an amazing colorist, barber and hair artist! She has been doing my high lights and blow outs for YEARS! I've yet to find someone who's hair cut and style lasts with me as long as hers does. She definitely inst the cheapest, but her work is WELL worth the price. I paid $135 for a full head of highlights and a blowout. I don't think I could have found someone who did such an amazing job for less. She also does amazing wedding hair and updos. We always use her for events. She tends to book up pretty quickly so I would schedule her out. We've had groups from 5-10 people and she's always accommodated us! I would give her a try. Not the ritzy salon vibe, just a comfortable place where good hair is done!
