My son is 2years old and it was his first time at the dentist. He was referred by my Los Feliz Mom group and I was not disappointment. His staff were so lovely and welcoming ! And Dr. Dan is gentle, warm, and his love for children really shines through. I recommend a 1,0000% !
This man is the Blippi of Dentistry. My son, 3 y/o, was nervous to go to the dentist (I'm sure as most kids are); but coupled with my trauma from dentists when I was my son's age it is so important to me to find an environment that are intelligent & nurturing. As soon as we walked in I knew we were in a great place - we got the WARMEST welcome from Kira and our hygienist, Maddie. When they took us in, Dr. Dan was already in the room, ready for us!! At the previous dentistry we went to, we only saw the dentist in the last 5-min; she was in & out without a goodbye. Right off the bat, it was clear this man #1) knows what he's doing with kids and #2. he truly enjoys his job. He paid such great attention to my son and picked up on his interests immediately (it was as if they had Blippi queued up and ready to go upon us arriving). He made the teeth cleaning so pleasant, fun, and engaging - they were able to floss my son's teeth, which the previous dentistry we went to weren't able to crack the code on (much less myself). Next, Dr. Dan's knowledge of all things dental-related was impressive. Not only does he seem to stay on top of current topics, but he's incredibly patient and interested in answering questions in a clear & thorough manner. What was also impressive was his experience in highlighting warning signs before they occur - across all dentists I've been to, no one has ever been so proactive in providing a heads up about things to look out for. Ultimately, I'm not sure who had more fun, me or my son - what I do know is if I had a dentist like Dr. Dan and his staff growing up, I'd have less anxiety & fear in life. Their bedside manner is 100%. Also, pay attention to the thoughtful details of the office & experience - I won't ruin the surprises, but it's clear they go the extra mile for their customers.
First time back in a long time. Changed dentist due to operating hours but now that my schedule changed I can come back in. Great customer service by the staff, clean space and a pretty good experience.
