Anoush Dance Studio

Anoush Markarians, a distinguished Artistic Director and Dance Choreographer, is a passionate advocate for Armenian folklore, particularly dance and music. Initiated into dance at nine, she pursued systematic courses for classic and traditional folk dance, earning certification as a diligent and skilled instructor. In 2005, Anoush brought her artistic talent to the United States, collaborating with diverse dance academies and organizations. Currently managing her dance studio in Glendale, CA, Anoush continues to share cultural values passionately. Her dance studio is described as a wonderful, interactive, and cheerful place to learn various styles of dance, including Armenian and salsa. The studio offers a sense of community, warmth, and joy, and is always clean and decorated according to the season and occasions. Anoush is praised for her positive influence, empowerment, and genuine care for her students, who have been dancing with her for over 25 years.
